FB Le'Ron McClain has agreed to terms on a three-year deal with the San Diego Chargers, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. McClain earned Pro Bowl honors in 2008 and 2009, largely due to the unusually high rushing numbers he produced as a fullback. After rushing for 902 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2008, his rushing attempts have since declined dramatically, with the Chiefs using him primarily as a blocking back last season. He appears destined for a similar role in San Diego, as he will likely be paving the way for Ryan Mathews. This article assumes a Chiefs role in the Chargers O vs a Ravens role with Tolbert probably gone.
