Kolb Update

Sounds like they want to move him. dunno:

(Rotoworld) Eagles GM Howie Roseman wouldn't rule out the possibility of a trade when asked about Kevin Kolb's future Tuesday. Analysis: "We have a lot of respect for Kevin as a player and a lot of respect for Kevin as a person," said Roseman, "But we're in this business to win games and get the best possible players for the Philadelphia Eagles." Roseman might as well put a sign in the window announcing that he's open for business. Trading will be more difficult this year, pending the status of the CBA, but it certainly sounds like Kolb has a shot to go to the highest bidder.

They need to keep Kolb if possible

They may not have a choice. If teh CBA drags, they may be stuck regarless.

however, if they can deal him, I think they will. Right or wrong, they hitched their waggon to Vick. As such, you can't keep two starting Qbs, and not have issues the first time your actual starter has a minor issue. No, I think Philly and Reid are fair with Kolb, and deal him once a CBA is done.

This is a situation that I am watching very closely.

I have both QBs in a keeper league and can keep either for a ridiculously low price.

I'm not comfortable with Vick long term. Not as a premeir NFL QB, anyway.

If Kolb finds himself in a good situation with a team that is willing to commit to him, I think I'd keep Kolb and sell high on Vick.

From a fantasy perspective I think youve got one more premium year with Vick. Selling high is the right thing to do.
