Former Broncos and Falcons kicker Jason Elam will announce his retirement from football on Wednesday. Elam will sign a one-day contract with the Broncos, for whom he kicked from 1993-2007. Consistently among the highest fantasy scorers at his position over the course of his 17-year career, Elam will retire as one of the most accurate field goal kickers of his generation and the best in Broncos franchise history. His 436 field goals are good for fifth all time.
