Take this with a grain of salt folks.

First Orton is an RFA right now. So if he thinks he has no shot to start, would you sign your tender? Add to that watch if they try to resign Orton to a longer term contract...if so, then Quinn is insurance only. If not, then I think Orton will be this year only...and they will monitor this year what they think of Quinn and decide next year if they draft a QB of the future.
 
Quinn is a product of Notre Dame......'nuff said.

Notre Dame has produced exactly 3 NFL capable QB's in the last 100 years and NONE since Joe Montana (a very nice one, BTW).

Quinn is an NFL bust as will Claussen be.

The job is Orton's to lose.
 
So if Quinn went to lets say UCLA LSU or Bama etc....... he would have been a much better QB ??

I dont see that going to Notre Dame has anything to do with it, when you suck you suck regardless of what college he attended

Whats going to be said about Tebow when he proves he sucks in the NFL ???? :duckhunt:

So now it's not ok to make gross generalizations like "USC produces great running backs" or "Nebraska churns out great offensive linemen"?

Wanna run the probabilities?

And yes.....If Quinn had gone to Stanford or Washington he WOULD have been a better NFL quarterback. No doubt in my mind.
