I have been reading many articles about J.Clausen's questionable character.

Some say it was his off field issues that dropped him down in the draft calling him "A Punk" but dont go into any detail. :headscratch:

I think he will be a solid QB in the very near future for Carolina in the mold of Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco

I saw a report that Steve Smith is the one who called him a "punk". Not sure if it's true or not but it wouldn't surprise me. Probably not a good thing that his best WR doesn't like him already.
 
ouch, if SS and him are into it already that isn't a good thing.

This is why I have been down on the kid. Some guys just have "it" and some guys don't. I don't think he has "it" and his attitude is the reason why. I won't be shocked at all when Tony Pike ends up being the better long term QB option in Carolina.
 
My strong dislike for Notre Dame clouds my judgement of the young man. A couple of good licks from the defense could adjust as attitude in a hurry.
 
When someone who's been suspended for punching a teammate calls you a punk, you've pretty much reached rock-bottom..

I was really unsure about taking Pike in Hired Guns. Just felt having Romo and Stafford lets me take a shot at this
