Jets RB Shonn Green Injuried

RB Shonn Greene could be shut down for the rest of preseason because of cartilage damage in his ribs, coach Rex Ryan indicated today. Greene, who already had been dealing with a sprained right ankle for much of training camp, said he suffered the injury on his first carry against Baltimore the other night.

might be tough for him to have much of an impact early on due to this. He may need an injury in front to do anything this year.

He may not really have much of a this year impact. A lot of his draft value is with keeper and Dynasty leagues where he could end up with the job if T. Jones moves on next year.

Hmmm... interesting... what does this do to Jones' value? It brings it up obviously but by how much? He's been on my do not draft list but I have loved him in the past... decisions decisions...

I see Leon Washington cutting more into Jones' carries now. But goal line duties are probably still his.

I don't think either.

Again, the original plan, but Ryan himself, was to do a 3 RBBC like Baltimore had.

Jones = McGahee (without all the injury issues...)
Washington = Rice
Greene = McClain

So my assumption would be if Greene is hurt...Jones will only see more carries, not less.
