lg pitts' health is still a question mark and he remains a fa, but the texans did tell him to talk to them before he signed anywhere else . . . i believe it's an open competition right now at interior ol, but they do have some draft picks that are improving . . . caldwell is likely the rg, but he'd probably help them better at center, imo.

I read that Faneca graded out poorly last year. The Jets paid a boatload of cash to get Faneca a way from the Steelers. That said, if cut, Faneca is still a huge improvement for a lot of teams. He may not be living up to the mega contract but many teams could find him very useful.

yeah, i hear his pass blocking has diminished, but his run blocking is still solid . . . he'd at least be a great player/coach for teams with younger players.

Kind of sounds like the Saints when they moved Willie Roaf to KC. Willie went on to have a few fine years with the Chiefs. In fairness though part of the reason they moved him was because of the alledged affair between Willie's wife and Joe "blow my own" Horn.
