Well I know many do not want to hear about Tebow, but i think the Jets are playing their cards right in dealing with Tebow. The smartest thing they could do is to not make his role a "backup QB". Really not even a 3rd stringer. If the Jets were to make this hypothetical scenario public knowledge I believe great things could happen in New York. If Tebow's role was strictly a "utility" player(part-time fullback,TE, with the threat to do many things, etc) I would be excited for the Jets. If the Jets make him a backup and Sanchez starts to play bad(and he will at some point) the fans will scream for Tebow which I think would be a mess if the coaches were to succumb like in Denver. It kinda seems like they are leaning to the before mentioned scenario which I am hoping for.
