rotoworld,
Jets coach Rex Ryan revealed following Friday's preseason loss that OLB Calvin Pace will miss "a couple weeks" with a foot injury.

It sounds like a sprain, which can be a tricky injury -- especially if it's to the middle of Pace's foot. The Jets' top pass rusher, Pace will be in a race to get back for the regular season opener. Jason Taylor may be forced into full-time duty opposite Bryan Thomas, which won't help the club's run defense.

It's worse than feared.

rotoworld,
Jets OLB Calvin Pace will reportedly miss 6 weeks after breaking his right foot in Friday's preseason game against the Redskins.

The injury was originally thought to be just a sprain. This is a big blow for the Jets, as Pace was expected to try to make it back for the regular season opener. Jason Taylor will slide into Pace's spot opposite Bryan Thomas, and will have a chance to show everyone how much (or little) he has left in the tank.
