Jerome Felton, Lions goal line RB?

cbssports.com,
As if the Lions' running back situation wasn't tough to figure out already, a report on MLive.com says the team is considering Jerome Felton as a physical inside rusher and not necessarily as a fullback. That might mean he'll work in short yardage and at the goal line. Felton was a bullying back in college and has experience finding the end zone -- he scored 63 touchdowns in his collegiate career at Furman.
Analysis: Felton has yet to score a regular-season NFL touchdown, so we're not convinced he's earned this role. Nevertheless, he's a guy to watch this summer since he could factor into the Lions' run game. For now he's not worth drafting.

It seems the Lions might be planning on spreading it around "Saints style" this year?

The Saints really spread the wealth around near the goal-line. As a Colston owner I get excited every time I hear of a Saints score. But sometimes as you get the details it's.......... Who??....... WhoDat???........TD, He only has 7 carries.....WhoDat?.....scored again???

I was reading another report that says he has already gotten reps as a halfback in practices.

This thread should be a testimate to how far the Lions have came under the new regime.

We've gone to actually paying attention to who their goalline vulture might be.
