Bengals released RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

When given the ball this preseason Hill has delivered in a big way and some believe that he has worked his way into a time share at RB for the Bengals. Between you and me and this is me saying it. IF Hill stays healthy he will be the lead back in the future.

Am I alone in thinking that Hill was a bit of a wasted pick? There was nothing wrong with BJGE. He served his purpose and played that role very well. Still has gas in the tank too. Thunder to Gios lightening. I think Cincy would have been better served if they looked at another position in the 2nd rd...like a position of need

After Jeremy Hill's beastly preseason, the Bengals were able to comfortably sever ties with 29-year-old Green-Ellis, who was injured for much of August following an ineffective 2013 season. An aging plodder, Green-Ellis will probably resurface on a team in desperate need of a short-yardage back, but he has very little left to offer. The Bengals' tailback depth chart stands at Giovani Bernard, rookie Hill, Cedric Peerman, and Rex Burkhead as Week 1 approaches

There is a ton of garbage at RB though if you look at it... I'm pretty sure a lot of teams could use a BJGE... at least he is league tested garbage. I was somewhat surprised
