Jennings: Worth more to Fantasy Owners- Where?

Vikings sign Greg Jennings. I think I saw it was 5 yrs right under 10 mil a yr.

I think Jennings will be a solid starter in fantasy play if he stays healthy. However I can't decide in my mind whether he'd be a better fantasy receiver as one of many in Green Bay with a Top Gun slinging the ball or as the clear cut #1 WR for the Vikes and a not so great QB. Could it be that they work out about the same in you guys and ladies minds?

Okay I moved these posts from the Free Agent thread to it's on thread to see if more Outlaws will chime in.

Worth more in Minny, BUT will need some kind of threat on the other side to keep D's off him (other than Peterson,Rudolph).

the move to get Jennings is huge for Minny. A solid vet to mentor whoever they gain in the draft, plus the kid they have now in Wright.

Still, I don't see Jennings as a benefit over Harvin. Then again, maybe for less attitude he is.

But I do see Jennings have a solid not great year.

Look at it this way.

Vikings trade

Traded

Percy Harvin

Received

Greg Jennings
25th pick in the first round
2 million dollars a year for five years

I call that a pretty good trade.

Good point, in an NFL sense it makes great sense.

In a fantasy sense, i am still not sure Jennings equals Harvin. Still, in a Wr starved world, with no real competition for the ball, he could have a very good year.

I'm not buying Jennings in Minny w/ Ponder throwing the ball. I hope I'm wrong because I'd like to see him do well but thats my initial reaction.

Harvin did pretty decent with Ponder. Jennings numbers may fall off a tad but I feel he'll still be a legitimate WR 2.
