Draft Projection - Top 5

NFL Impact
Jason Smith is a very athletic tackle who has great feet and balance. Long arms and good build that project him to an elite pass blocker at the next level. Smith is a tough kid with good motor and the ability to handle speed rushers off the edge. He is still improving and has a tremendous upside. He will need to get stronger and add weight, the positive thing is he has the frame and work ethic to do so.

So where do you think Smith will land? How successful will he be in the NFL?

Rams shopping No. 2 pick
The News
The Rams are reportedly shopping the No. 2 pick in the draft, according to the National Football Post.
Our View
A team looking to draft quarterback Mark Sanchez (USC) could contact the Rams about acquiring their pick. There is speculation that the Seahawks may target Sanchez at pick No. 4, and the Rams will give interested teams a chance to draft ahead of Seattle.

They can shop that #2 pic all they want, no chance in hell they deal it.....just too much money when you get up there.

Just read that SL leaked that they purchased a ticket for Sanchez to fly out there on Sunday.

This legit or another attempt to motivate a team to trade?

Thinking it is not legit but how would the OT's fall out if it was?

wow....I just can't see them taking Sanchez #2....I also can't see them finding someone to deal it to.

In the end, I still feel Smith will go #2.

For what it is worth, I have read some reports from O-line experts that really, really feel A.Smith is the best tackle. Reason? Balance. Both J.Smith and Monroe are leaners, which makes them susceptible to certain attacks. A.Smith is much more sound and solid at the base.

So seeing one if the two "supposedly" best OTs drop would not surprise me. I also think A.Smith is gone by Pick #6 no later.

I originally had Andre as my #1 but his workouts raise concerns of his commitment not his skill.

Will Oher be able to fall out of the top 10-15?

I think there is a solid possiblility he is at #20 for detroit. It will depend to me on if SD goes RB or some other position rather than OT. Just have to wait and see how the draft falls.

St.Louis....if they go OT, I think will push up the market. If they go Sanchez or some other.....then the OTs will drop.
