Fox sticking with Delhomme as Panthers starting quarterback

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Jake Delhomme may have two touchdown passes and seven interceptions, but he'll remain winless Carolina's starting quarterback.

When asked Wednesday if Delhomme was still his guy moving forward, coach John Fox replied, "Yes, with a capital Y."

As much as I hate Carolina, I'll throw them a little bit of rope here, they have a ridiculously tough schedule. The loss to Atlanta (and possibly Dallas) was not Delhomme's fault, they are being very poorly coached this season.

Besides, its not as if they have a better option. I imagine that if they aren't at least 4-4 after week 8, they may give the control over to Moore to see if he can show some promise as a future QB. And hey, if not, there's always Tim Tebow in next year's draft :rolllaugh:
