Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew suffered a leg contusion

CBSSports.com reports Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (leg) suffered a leg contusion during the team's preseason game Thursday, Sept. 3, and he is questionable to return.

It doesn't sound like anything serious and I'm sure MJD owners are glad he got some valuable pre-season Game 4 experience.

Jack Del Rio would have gotten an entire fan bases foot up his ass had MJD came up hurt in a junk game.

xrays were negative on what has been described as a bruised lower right leg. MRI is scheduled for today. Del Rio says he should be a go.

Well thats good news. Now he's got just over a week to get the soreness out of the bruise.

They said that Del Rio gave a pre-game speech about not wanting to be the first team in their franchise history to go 0-4 in the preseason. That's why he played his starters and played them a good ways into the first half.

Oh yeah, with that thinking , he needs to go. If a coach is willing to sacrifice players in a meaningless game chancing a season ending injury to a starter that could effect the whole up coming season just because he didn't want a 0-4 record in a bunch of worthless games, he needs to be fired and have his bags packed.
