So it is week 9 and Jacobs isn't available as a choice. But the wells news is good.
Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com believes that new starter Beanie Wells could finish "in the 30-carry range" during the team's Week 8 game against Tampa Bay if the Cardinals have success out of the gate. Analysis: Tampa is only scoring 16.3 points per game (29th in the NFL), so it's a good bet that the score will be close and the Cards will be able to execute their run-first game plan. "This is his moment to shine, I think," predicts Urban. With the Cardinals starting a struggling, undrafted rookie quarterback coming off a concussion, Wells should receive at least 25 touches.
