Jabari Greer agreed to a three-year contract extension with the Saints, securing him through the 2015 season, NFL.com reports. Greer's extension will pay him a guaranteed $15.6 million, with the potential worth of the deal more than $23 million. Aside from locking in one of their veteran defensive leaders for three more years, the way Greer's new contract was constructed has freed up salary-cap space for the Saints, which can be used to assist in the structuring of a long-term contract for quarterback Drew Brees.
