Is Russell Wilson on your draft radar?

After a pleasantly surprising rookie campaign (much to the delight of my sisters, one an alum and one currently attending UW) Russell Wilson is on different peoples' ADP around round 4 both early and late from what I have seen. He had a great year, and performed under pressure undeniably. However NFL defensive coaches tend to adapt quickly, especially in the offseason. I wonder if it's worth a 4th rd pick, even if you got some sick dudes early on. I would think if you are grabbing Wilson rd 4 you could just as well get an Eli, Dalton, hell flacco, rivers, and cutler are mostly under him. You might even get in a draft where dudes are scurd to go with RG3.... In my opinion, I wouldn't reach for Wilson in the 4th, but I'm definitely a very early round QB guy or just wait til much later and when everyone is done picking QBs you can snatch one for cheap in like the 6th or later even. Especially with the thin RB herd and the tendancies of NFL defenses to adapt quickly (and him having all good defenses in division, who are also planning for kaepernick) I just don't have the faith, at least in a fantasy sense.

Not as a #1, he isn't...nor is kaepernick.

Wilson and Kap are good number 2's if you waited late on a #1 QB (lots of upside) but I'm not counting on these guys in fantasy.

I like Wilson and expect his numbers to get better as the Hawks add more pieces to the offense. That said I absolutely don't pick him in the 4th. I'm not an early QB type of fantasy player except in rare and wild situations. Too much talent at the QB position for me to reach. Russell Wilson is not the secret player.

I have Wilson as my #1 now in HG. I think he will only get better, and if they can get a legit #1 Wr, his numbers will skyrocket

I'll take brees in the 1st if he's there mud... all day... and damn i thought wilson was pleasantly surprising

Fock no. He's a Seachicken. I could never root for him to do well. I want to win as much as anybody, but I also play for fun and it isn't fun rooting for players you don't like, weather just because they are on a team you don't like or just don't like personally. Ben Roth will never be on a team of mine either. Just don't like the guy. Can't hope he does well.

I sympathize with E for sure... and yeah wilson woul;d have to be pretty low for me to grab

Great target for the wait on QB guys. Pair him with another borderline starter and I think you'll be fine.

I hope he doesn't go close to that high. 8/10 sounds like good value....if he going that high?

Well lets think about this.

You usually see Brees, Brady and Rodgers gone by round 2 or 3, one at least goes in round 1. In rounds 4 - 6 you see Romo, P.Manning, E.Manning, Stafford, Ryan, Cam and maybe Rivers, but I think he drops down.

After that you have Flacco, then maybe Rivers, Roethlisburger, Schaub, Dalton, and unknowns like Kaepernick, Vick, R.Wilson, Ponder, Freeman, RGIII, whoever is QB in Arizona, Oakland, NY Jets, Tannehill in Miami and Rookie in Tenn. So I could see him drop to the 8th round or so later, if QB isn't a major run at some point
