I was looking at Tennessee and wondering is the passing game was ever going to break out. So I looked at how their opponents rank vs the pass so far this year.
They've played the following teams in pass D ranking : 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 21, 28.
For those of you at home, that's 75% of their games vs a team in the top 10 vs the pass.
Their remaining schedule features the 12, 17, 25, 17, 30, 24, 12, and 1 ranked pass defenses. Much better 2nd half schedule down the stretch.
