USC OT Tyron Smith proved his health at the Trojans' Pro Day Wednesday, running a forty in the 4.91-4.92 range less than three months after undergoing postseason arthroscopic knee surgery.

His ten-yard split was in the low-1.7s. Smith also weighed in at a robust 6-foot-5 and 310 pounds after playing last season well below 300. He did 31 reps of 225 pounds on the bench. The Morris Trophy winner as the Pac 10's top offensive lineman in 2010, Smith is being projected as high as the No. 9 overall pick in April's draft. He has the longest arms of any draft-eligible lineman, making his bench total that much more impressive.
