Immovable vs Unstopable

I love this...

Week 1 top fantasy defense: Philly

Week 1 top fantasy offense: New Orleans

Week 2: New Orleans at Philadelphia. :rolllaugh:

Which force will persevere and which will be humbled?

I'm guessing that Philly bursts the Saints bubble. Think you'll get another hundred out of Bell?...think again. Think Shockey is a must start this week?...Think again. Think Brees is a lock for another 300 yd game?...Think again.

I love the Saints and have Brees in my $$$ league, but I see a bad moon rising and I pray for the health of the Saints players. :worried3:

Well done! Not saying I agree, but well done! :)

I think the X factor here is the QB position for Philly. Will McNabb play? If he does, will he be effective? That said, whether he plays or not, the Saints defense likely can't stop the Eagles offense, whether it is led by McNabb, Kolb, or Garcia. The greatness of the Saints offense is also the killer of their defense. New Orleans scores so fast, their defense can never catch a breath.

As a philly fan I would love to agree with you.....

but as Mike pointed out...for Philly's defense to be really effective, they need a lead...so they take more chances than most defenses. I think Kolb gets the start...and if they go too conservative...they leave it wide open for NO to steal this one.

I will say though that I am NOT impressed by N.O.'s defense. I was sure they would be improved this year. Not really seeing it. If they lose the two players to the star caps issue...they are really, really screwed.

This could end up a close game and low scoring game. But I still think the Eagles win.

Moore, Colston, and Shockey this week??

Saints | Rotation at WR will continue to evolve Tue Sep 15, 07:46 PM
Les East, of The Advocate, reports the New Orleans Saints' rotation at wide receiver will continue to evolve. WR Marques Colston played 45 snaps in Week 1, followed by WR Devery Henderson (45), WR Robert Meachem (29) and WR Lance Moore (23).
Our view: The Saints were able to score on long plays, so there wasn't much need for Moore's ability to keep drives alive with his great work on short and intermediate routes. He looked just as good as he did last year on his targets, so we would recommend picking him up if someone prematurely drops him because of his numbers vs. the Lions.
