About all I can tell here is Bo Davis has had a relationship with him since the Alabama days and the family loved Texas. Still.... a shocker to me all the same.

The heavy speculation is that he flipped to Texas because of his desire to play early in his career and his chances of doing that seem much great in Texas than in Tiger Stadium where many predicted he wouldn't play before his junior year. On a personal side note Shreveport has always been an unofficial part of Texas. The local network there carried the Cowboys home games over the Saints until recent years when the Saints started winning while the Cowboys were on hard times. LSU often loses talent from NW Louisiana and this is just another one of those cases.
