Phillips injury could be career threatening
The News
Newsday is reporting that the injury to the knee of Giants' safety Kenny Phillips could be career threatening. Phillips is suffering from patellofemoral arthritis. According to Dr. Michael Kaplan, "It doesn't bode well for a football player to have this. It's very unusual."
Our View
Kaplan didn't sound very encouraged when talking about the injury, and this could be worse than originally thought for Phillips. He is already out for the season, but hopefully this condition won't affect his career.
