Tanard Jackson has been suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. His suspension begins immediately and means he is out at least for the rest of the year, the St. Petersburg Times reports. It's 3 times and your out for Jackson, He has tested positive for a banned substance twice before. He was suspended the first four games last season. He is eligible for reinstatement on Sept. 22, 2011. Needless to say, since he was a starter and the team's best safety, this is a gigantic blow to the Buccaneers' defense and anyone who owned him in IDP leagues. Sabby Piscitelli is the likely replacement as he is a former starter, but Corey Lynch or Cody Grimm also have a shot at taking over Jackson's spot.

If he is one of your IDPs, start looking for a replacement now. The Bucs D overall has been a nice grab and popular WW move but this setback is serious and could impact the unit as a whole.

Hawks LB Leroy Hill will Miss some time

Seahawks LB Leroy Hill's injury is located near his Achilles and will force him to miss "significant" time, the Seattle Times' Danny O'Neil reports. Analysis: Various injuries have prevented Hill from playing a full 16-game season at any point in his six-year career. The Seahawks have no timetable for Hill's return, but David Hawthorne's playing time will increase while Hill is out.

Tisk tisk tisk Tanard. Seriously stupid.

Thank goodness I didn't draft him in NFL Challenge even though I was really close at one point.

The Bucs have been loving them some Cody Grimm. I wouldn't be surprised to see him inch ahead and become a man sooner than later. Sabby isn't A-team material, yet. He keeps making rookie mental mistakes and getting too excited to really execute each and every play he'd be responsible for as a starter.

Thanks RZR, That's pretty much what I read about the situation. The report said Sabby may see a quick uptake in useage but would yeild to others as he just isn't good enough for the long haul or to become an IDP stud.

Browns defensive tackle Shaun Rogers (leg) was downgraded to out

Browns defensive tackle Shaun Rogers (leg) was downgraded to out for Week 3 at Baltimore. Analysis: Ray Rice and Willis McGahee both receive matchup upgrades now that the Browns will be without their most effective run stuffer in Week 3. Ahtyba Rubin is expected to take Rogers' place at nose tackle against the Ravens.
