We need Outlaws for the greatest league on the Planet. Mike basically saved the league by giving it a home. JScott ran the league for 2 years but needs a break. Orgazmo commished us last year and did a great job.

We stand to lose Phicin, JScott, Miller and Mutts. That is HUGE!!! 3 of them have been individual league champs at the IBL and always top tier guys. We have one of the best teamworkers in the business in EC, who is a draft dreamworker, and she's up when we are down.

I hope...........HOPE that a few of these three stay. We need them. We won this league our first year, and took 2nd last year. This is a 6-8 board (12 teams) to a board league where there are multiple drafts, and you can draft in sny of them. There is not another league like it. Line up. Let's talk about it. We are the Outlaws. We do have to be careful with what we talk about because strategy is key, but we can explain how it works here.

Little more on the league. If you want the ULTIMATE FF challenge, this is it! Your own individual success is not enough, it's all about leading the TEAM to victory! Last year there was 8 boards (96 teams!!). The way it is done is 8.....YES 8 Drafts!! Each draft has 12 teams from various board in it. The kicker is you can trade in and out of ALL 8 drafts! It is absolutely the craziest drafting experience you will ever experience.

This league takes a large time commitment and you have to be willing to work as part of a team. However, in the end, you make the decisions on your team. A willingness to work together for the betterment of the overall team is what this league takes to win.

If you love to wheel and deal, this is the league! It is why I love it, 95 other owners to trade with!! Tons of opportunities. Miss the player you wanted, don't worry, trade into another draft to get him. Almost unlimited opportunities to build your targeted team.

If you are interested in joining the Sports Outlaw IBL team for 2010 post here. Once a listed of interested members is received the league will discuss and decide who gets the invites.

Trust is the other part of the equation. We all lay our plans out. We all know who each of us covets. Sometimes we are absent when oppurtunities arise and we have to know our individual teams and overall teams best interest will be covered. The closer knit the better.

You will run and make all of the decisions for your team. You might be called on to trade spots with a teamate if it looks to aid both.

RC's point at the end is something we do better than most boards. Our strategies are laid out well before the draft including draft position preferences & player targets and round values. We're able to cover for each other when someone drops off the grid so we almost never miss a player or a draft spot.

So if you're considering the league be prepared to communicate with us better than you do with your spouse!

This league is the real deal. I look to help out and have a better team this year than last year. Hands down the most intense and challenging league that I've ever been a part of.

Not much a picnic bench can say back, my friend. :thrash:

:nannie:

and sorry, that picnic bench joke was bad the first 100 times you made it, and now it's just like the 76 yr old comic who is still telling jokes from the WWII era......:grandpa:

I make it a habit of never reading crap before bed. Heartburn and all. So my bad for missing some joke. And the picnic molester joke will never die. Like splinters in an Ohioan's junk that joke is eternal!

Back to task.

8 copies of every player is available in 8 separate drafts of which you can participate in all of them. If you trade with teamates the trades are scrutinized an d kept equitable. If you trade with another board, the skies the limit, but these aren't your run of the mill opponents. No cupcakes here outside of a rouge rookie or two. You could possibly draft your whole team outside of your 4th rounder, your 6th rounder and your 9th rounder, then pick those guys up 3 to 4 weeks later.

Since I last played in this league 4 or 5 years ago are the changes as follows:

  • 8 boards instead of 5
  • PPR

Anything else?
