I have a new found respect for Tony Romo

ESPN Dallas and ESPN's Chris Mortensen are both reporting that Tony Romo played Sunday's win over San Francisco with a punctured lung.

Takes some serious stones to play with at least 2 fractured ribs and a punctured lung. He may still have a bit to go to be "Elite" but he definitely put all the doubts about his toughness aside.

Bah Humbug.

Show me a guy who missed 3 games with a sprained pinky then played through broken ribs and a punctured lung and I'll show you a liar (somewhere in the mix....most likely the owner)

IT'S A MIRACLE!

Romo's punctured lung has mysteriously healed!

Yet...he's still laid up in a recliner even though he could finish last weeks game.

Pansy bitch won't play this week (IMO) and I challenge the details of his injury.

I'm guessing he sustained bruised ribs (still very painful) and will be out for 2-3 weeks.

The exaggerated accounts of his injury (IMO) are the product of the front office.

The notion that Romo is some kind of Adonis is laughable.

Assuming the details of his injury were real, I actually would have to agree with this. I figured the Cowboys would win easy over the 49ers, but the way that they did it and the late game heroics of Tony Romo defied most of my assumptions about him. I was calling him a choke artist after week 1 and I still feel he is overrated... but last week definitely boosted my respect for him as a competitor.
