To blatently rip off a local radio show host here in the Natti. I will attempt to reach for the unreachable...and target my beliefs of what will happen each week in the NFL. Feel free to blow them up, or post your own.
I believe that New Orleans will lose its Superbowl glow very early. A loss to Minny in week 1 will douse a lot of hype.
I believe that Buffalo will show case C.J.Spiller (yeah I know big reach
) and then as he gets blown up, regret not going OT or OL in round 1 of this years draft. They also will suddenly work diligently to get Fred Jackson back to health pronto.
I believe that everyone who spent fairly high picks on Ced Benson, will get a big worry week 1. As I see Cincy passing early on first downs, and often to showcase the T. Ocho show. But don't panic owners, as they will revert to the Ced Benson show vs. Baltimore next week.
I believe All the NFC South teams win EXCEPT the Saints. Yes, even Tampa.
I believe St. Louis defeats the hapless Arizona Cardinals. The ONLY fantasy player on Ari. worth starting will be Hightower. I also think all those who took Fitz in round one this year will be scared sh!!less.
I believe Baltimore will beat the Jets, popping the Superbowl or bust mentality of the Jets in week 1, and establishing the Ravens as the team to beat in the AFC. Even with bad corners.
I believe the Steelers WISH Dixon gets them wins, so they can smack Roethlisburger in the back of the head and say SEE...We don't need you! Unfortunately, that won't happen this week, as ATL will win thanks to Mr. Turner and Ryan and White and Gonzo.
I believe that neither the GB vs. Philly game nor the Saints vs. Minny game will be the most total pts. That instead will be the Hou. vs. Indy
game.
I believe Dallas and Philly win week one to start the fight for the NFC East title. Washington and Giants lose.
I believe at the end of the week, Minny and Detroit are tied at 1-0, while Chicago and GB are 0-1.
I believe that Andre Johnson and Reggie Wayne will be #1 and #2 Wrs respectively after week 1.
I also believe that Kevin Kolb will make those who drafted him very, very happy this week.
