Hunter Down

49ers Kendall Hunter suffered a leg injury during Friday's practice.

The severity of the injury is unknown, but ESPN's Ed Werder reported the 49ers "didn't like the way it looked" and are "concerned." Hunter will likely get an MRI today to assess the severity of the injury. Rookie Carlos Hyde would step into the No. 2 role if Hunter is forced to miss any time.

ACL and out for the year. Not a good thing from a team standpoint since Hunter was a solid back-up. From fantasy perspective, definitely move Hyde up in redraft.

No Dixon is in Buffalo. Gore and Hyde will be the players unless Lattimore is healthier than they are letting on. James could see an increased role in a Sproles type situation but don't see him contributing much as a runner.

Now James is out for a month with a dislocated elbow. Lattimore or Hyde
Heard that too. Carted off the field. Not sure the cart is required for an elbow injury..but whatever.

I like Hyde. Why on Earth would SF waste a draft pick on him if they liked any of their other options at back up RB?
