How many here hold local fantasy football drafts?

August 29th. Its my favorite day of the year, start with poker, then draft, then drink and draft, then drink and poker. :koolaid:

My local draft is on 8/29 as well. I'm in a league with two 10 man divisions. Bunch of guys I've known since High School, we rent out the 2 separate banquet rooms at a local pizza joint and party it up all day. Probably the best day of the year, its like waking up on Christmas morning when you're kid, knowing you're about to unwrap something great.

Old newspaper league. About $150 to join and $2/transaction (waiver, I/R, trade, etc...) Usually cost me about $250/year
I think the Keeper (12 Players) Declaration, 2 Rd Suplimental Draft, and 2 Rd Rookie Draft is Sept 4.
10 Rd Draft is Sept 9. Day before the 1st game
Waivers and trades can only be done at the weekly meetings
Drafts and weekly meetings are held at the pub :banana:

Lemmer and I just had ours yesterday.
On this topic, if anyone has a local BW3's, they are doing their draft promotion again. Just for holding your draft of 8 or more there you get $100 in free gift certs to use your next visit (our local one bends this for us and lets us do 50/50), draft kit and a champions mug.

Waiting for fathead.com to contact me back. If they want to send me one, what we will have is a big wall graphic that is an draft board. Big enough they say to handle 14 teams and 18 rounds, plus room for some trash talking remarks.

August 29th for me as well. Start with meeting at noon, then grilled steaks for lunch, then draft, then hold 'em. The guy that hosts also has a pool which makes it interesting. I haven't yet been the guy who falls in or jumps in with his regular clothes on........yet I mind you.
