Examining backfield committees is an interesting part of the projections. Here is my first-look projected carries for five teams.

My preliminary projection for Mendenhall, 300 carries, 1200 yds, 350 rec yds, 10 total tds. The thing that makes it hard is trying to figure out how much Pitt is going to suffer without Big Ben for 4-6 games and without Holmes. The main concern is the QB situation for those games. If teams are not respecting the QB, then they will be able to stack the box for Mendy.
