How do you feel about your schools class?

Personally I love ours. We got a late entry from a guy who kicks off, does FGs, and punts. I like that a scholly was spent on what I feel like was a glaring need.

I dont know much about Jordan Hicks, this LB we stole from Ohio State, but what I have read tells me I should be pretty excited.

We picked up 1 RB, Traylon Shead, a 6-3 220lb beast. I take this one with a grain of salt as our recent history of bringing in RBs that should be the dominant guy we are missing hasnt been great.

Jackson Jeffcoat heads up a group of 6 standout defensive lineman. I like Muschamps commitment to getting a rotation of monsters in there versus leaning on one or two guys.

We got a couple linemen, a couple of "athletes" I dont know much about, and 3 DBs, one of which goes 6-4. I like that at least we've got a guy in camp now who could potentially match up well against guys in the mold of Dez Bryant, Desmond Briscoe, or Danario Alexander, 3 guys who should make NFL squads this year.

And of course, our new stud QB needs new toys to play with after the los of Shipley and that Buckner idiot.

We brought in 5 WRs, the majority of them should press for immediate playing time. This group is headlined by Mike Davis and Darrius White, both top 20 ESPN U 150 guys. We also hauled in a 6-4 guy from the Houston area.

Two QBs are also in the class, Case McCoy, Colts brother, and a 6-4 QB out of the Houston area rated 4 stars.

What didnt the Sarge like? We didnt sign one *** damn TE. Not 1. We had a great one out of Cali, but he went down with a bad knee injury his frosh year and missed all of last year due to complications. He was/is suffereing from a condition known as "dropfoot", and he may not play again. We NEED a good TE. Hell, we NEED a couple.

I don't know much about Hicks Sarge, just that he is supposed to be pretty good. He's from the Cincy area, which is actually not a good Ohio State recruiting area. If your going to get a top Ohio prospect away from OSU, it will likely be in the Cincy area.

Well, for Ohio State if this is the correct list Im glad to see 3 WRs in camp.

Id like to see some film on Tyrone Williams. A 6-7 215 WR! Dayum.....

This is a Muschamp LB for sure. Kid is relentless.

Looked at some film on Darrius White. Looks to be pretty solid. We need a big WR who can move.

I see Kingdome lurking..... hope we get some intel on Sark's second class at Washington.

In the Carr era, Michigan used to battle OSU pretty well in the Cleveland/Parma area for top Ohio recruits.....now, however.....I think RRod stole a few guys that Tressel offered a walk-on opportunity with :xpissed:

FOOTBALL!
I like the Washington class. I'd rate it as a solid B/B+. For the last 7 or 8 years, our line recruiting has been awful. Thankfully Sark landed a linemen heavy recruiting class. Getting a stud safety on signing day helped make it a very balanced class.

Another thing Sark did right was recruit Los Angeles County (the nation's number 1 county for NFL production), a place that idiot, fraud Ty Willingham refused to recruit. Washington's best teams are built with the top NW talent accompanied by great players from California, especially LA County.

We did lose the top in-state prospect, QB Jake Heaps to BYU, but landed Nick Montana. We did well in most of our traditional recruiting areas: in-state, Hawaii, & Southern California. It was almost like old times, except we lost one of the top state of Oregon prospects at the last minute to Oregon. Other than that, solid class.

I'm feeling pretty good about Georgia Tech's class. Our main area of struggle all season was our defense and we've made steps to improve that.
We signed three cornerbacks who look great, Louis Young, ranked 11th in the country, Ryan Ayers, ranked 16th, and BJ Bostic, ranked 28th.
We also signed a DT by the name of Shawn Green, who is supposed to be very talented. And we grabbed a couple of quick OLBs.
The only other commitment that really caught my eye is a runningback named Charles Perkins, I've been watching some tape on him this morning and I must admit, this kid seems like the perfect fit for the triple option.

Overall, I agree with the experts: B.

Watched the video, I have some reservations as to if he can play WR at the College level. Looks a bit robotic and limited burst. However, if you can add 20-30 lbs which by looking at his frame should be easy, you have one HELL of a TE IMO. He could be a match-up nightmare if used right, just not sure he's a WR.

You know, I hadnt really given that angle alot of thought. Every QB loves to have a big TE to throw to (Are you listening Greg Davis :shake:? ).

Given that in the Big 10 the best crew of LBs seems to consistenly be AT Ohio State, this guy could give fits. If it worked out I dont see anyone outside of Penn State with the guys on the ground to match up with him.

The GT ground game looks to be in good hands. Im glad to see they addressed some defensive issues.

A look at a few others:

South Carolina brought in a class around 25 in the country, headlined by 5 Star RB Marcus Lattimore. Hauled in a good WR in Ace Sanders. Nailed a couple of big DTs to help cope with the power games in the SEC.

And once again hauled in a middle of the road ranked QB, 3 star Conner Shaw. Until South Carolina gets a good QB, they are always going to be that 7-5 squad. I cant believe Spurrier cant get a 4 or 5 star QB in the house. Shaw does list as dual threat, but I hope he turns out better.

Gene Chiziks Auburn Tigers hauled in a top 5 class. Looks more and more like Iowa St was more a bump in the road than a measuring stick.

The class is headlined by 5 star RB Michael Dyer and 5 star QB Cameron Newton. NOTE: Newton is a JUCO transfer from Blinn JC in Brenham, Texas where he is fresh off leading the Pirates to a JUCO National Championship in a playoff format. The SEC is a massive step up, but at least the guy is a proven winner.

The Tigers also added a 5 Star OL, a 4 Star OL, and several 4 star skill guys.

Oklahoma brought in a Top 10 class, headlined by an unusually high number (3) of RBs. Makes the backfield awfully crowded.

OU did manage to land at least one premier player at every spot. The class has quite a bit of balance and does address several OU deficiencies from 2009.

I expect 4 Star WR Kenny Stills to push for immediate playing time opposite Ryan Browles (AKA the only reliable OU WR).

UCLA loaded up on a second consecutive top class.

The headliner is 5 Star DE Owamagbe Odighizuwa, a top prosect out of Portland, Oregon.

The class also includes several addtional prospects to shore up the defensive line.

RB Jordon James headlines the skill guys, a 5-10 190 speedster out of Corona, California. James could press for immediate time in the Bruins backfield.
