How About My Jaguars...

We got 205 yds total offence, 92 passing and 103 rushing, and was able to muster up 4 FGs, two of which where over 50 yds and still won 12-7 over the all mighty Ravens. Complete shock. We aren't called the cardiac cats for nothing. We fumbled the ball away just trying to give Baltimore the momentum, which they never took. It was a huge win for us and taking stats and history into the mix, i shouldn't be that suprised we won. We lead the series 1 on 1 match up against them and they have a losing record here in Jax. And Del Rio was linebackers coach for them before becoming our head coach. That defence is just nasty and we're getting better on defence each week. Our offence, not so much. Like the offence is stuck on stupid and just doesn't get it.

This win here should go along way and bring momentum in this weekends game against Houston. It's possible we win that. Baltimore did beat Houston 29-14 a few weeks ago and they are pretty banged up. We need to win this game before going into our bye week and coming out to play the once almighty Colts.

We could be looking at 4-5 and 3-0 in the division. Anythings possible after this latest win.

LOL After suffering thru the first 6 games and watching them play, never in my tormented, i mean fondest dreams would have expected a win. I was just hoping not to get blown out and cover the spread. We did both.

I was thinking about how happy you'd be Cerberus, congratulations on a shocker. That defense looked scary.

Thanks. Defence does look good and is just getting better each week. Barring injuries, knock on wood, we should have one of the top "D" at seasons end. Now just to light a fire up the offences turd cutters and we might make a little noise.

I had Jax as one of the teams in the hunt for Luck next season but the defense may win them too many games.

LMAO youre the first thing that popped into my head while I was watching this, or maybe it was just pic under your name!!! So was it Impressive defense or terrible offense on Baltimores part??

I felt that the Jag's game-planned well, and executed that plan to perfection. The Raven's continue to struggle with the clown Cam Cameron who not only game plan's poorly, but could not adjust in any way to even attempt to overcome the Jag's plan.

Luck is good in the college ranks and may be really good in the pro ranks but we have Gabbert and i really do believe he will be a very good QB someday. Hopefully here with us. His biggest issues are the learning curve he took when he started. He was 3rd string til we got rid of deadweight and even then he still never played or practiced with the first team. Mc"L"own got the nod and sucked like we all knew. Come week 3 Gabbert was named starter. He has been showing improvements but still lacks any serious WR help. And until thats done he will struggle to develop. OL needs to get healthy so he cn have more time to realize just how bad his WRs do suck. And i'm still on the get rid of WR Shorts bandwagon.

*Blushing*. It was me cause i'm sexy. LOL. Ok it was Amber. As a biased Jag fan i have to say it was our defence. We made them look silly and in the head to head match ups we do lead the series and the Ravens do struggle against us here in Jax. And we did have the upper hand as Del Rio is very familiar with that defence as he was their LB coach for several years. We game planned and overall executed it very well. Would like to see better offence production tho. Hopefully in the near future.

Agreed. Nice to see it starting to come together. Still tryin to keep up hope for the season. We got Houston next then off then Indy. We could be looking at 4-5 here and 3-0 in division play.

I have been looking for the Jag D to improve this year and that was a great performance. Last year they had so many big injuries I knew they would be better just by getting those players back this year. Then all those second string guys last year got a baptism by fire, at times brutal, but this year they now come in with a bunch of actual game experience...... instant depth!

A game we had to win(Houston) and we lost it. Un-fkn-believable. That was pretty much the nail in the coffin for Del Rio here and our season. By all honesty for even a slight glimpse of hope we have to win the rest of our games, maybe could afford one loss but no more and definitly would have to win all the conference games from here on out. Don't see it happening. I'd go watch my Gators more but they suck too. Not a good year to be a Jag/Gator fan.

LOL. At least i get a break this week end from the agony of watching them lose since we're off and come back next week to play the haplass Colts in Indy. Now if we can't beat them i'm just gonna scream. LOL

in a sense, this was a must win for the texans too . . . they really needed to "take" 1st place in the division . . . i hope they are finally learning how to finish games . . . getting andre back at least after the wk 11 bye will help keep us there . . . ;)

Well since Jax isn't going to win it, i do hope Houston does. Can't stand Indy and just don't like the titans. Any team named after a condom just can't get a fan out of me. LOL

i used to like the titans back in the mcnair days, but really don't care for the way that organization is run anymore . . . the texans in the playoffs will be huge for this team and houston as well . . . the colts at the early side of the draft really sucks though . . . lol

Yep i have to agree on the colts early draft. Sucks. Knowing they will take a QB and now with Miami pulling the upset, Indy has the inside track on Luck.
