Have always pissed me off but this is getting worse

Kam Chancellor - 1 year into deal and not showing up.

Hey Kam - Show us how pissed you are. FIRE YOUR AGENT !!!!!! He is the person that negotiated for you and advised you to sign. Don't blame the Seahawks. How can anyone take you seriously when you are still paying that guy

He wants a new deal because lynch just got one when lynch still had a few years left on his contract.

Lynch had served more than 1 year.

Still doesn't matter though. If you are not happy fire the guy who did it. AGENT is the 1 who negotiated and talked you into it

Agree to a point, but.................

Still would be a source of contention. Give one player a new contract, but not another. Chancellor seems like a good guy and wouldn't hold out if he didn't feel he deserved it as much as Lynch.

He doesn't seem to have a lot of leverage, but if he decides to hold his ground, the Hawks will definitely miss him.

Thing that I don't like is they sign the contract. If they outplay the contract they want more but if they don't play up to expectations they a rent giving it back.

I agree, but Seattle opened this can of worms by redoing Lynch's contract twice. If they didn't do that, I'm pretty sure Chancellor wouldn't be holding out now.

I follow you. Its a slippery slope. Seattle opened this up but they are going to have to close it at some point. You can't pay everyone big contracts. Recognize though that Cam Chancellor is pretty important to the defense. Hard to work a big trade in the NFL but wondering if that might be an option. Probably not going to get the playmaker back that chancellor is but maybe the Seahawks could get some depth and they do have plenty of other play makers on defense.
