Wonder what Cerb thinks of this. Might be a good thing as bad a Gabbert was last season, maybe give him some time to improve. It is an improvement I feel for the Jags.
A 2 year deal and sounds like the best man will be the starter next season.

Another backup/starter QB is off the market

Free-agent quarterback Chad Henne canceled his visit to the Seahawks after reaching an agreement on a contract with Jacksonville. Seattle still plans to meet with Matt Flynn, but the team has proven it will show restraint at the position when dealing with unproven prospects. That was the case last offseason when Seattle resisted acquiring Kevin Kolb. Flynn fits into a similar category.

Pretty sure the 'Hawks don't even have a viable backup rite now with Tarvaris as the starter. Not looking good

I kind of like it. They need a care taker, not a big play maker. I see Jags going back to the old fashioned run alot, have a great defense and play ball control. Henne wasn't terrible, but not great. With MJD there it could be a solid start, not spectacular though.
