According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, CB Brandon Underwood is the unnamed Packers player under investigation for sexual assault in Lake Delton, Wisconsin.

Underwood "did have contact with the two females," said Sgt. Gerald Grimsled. "We were pretty sure of that. Everybody was cooperative. It comes down to 'was it consensual sex?' One side says yes, the other says no." Once Underwood's name surfaced in the incident, several teammates said "he had been a problem since he was drafted" last year. This won't sit well with coach Mike McCarthy. who cited Underwood as the team's most improved player this offseason.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed Sunday that the sexual assault accusation against Packers CB Brandon Underwood will be reviewed under the league's personal conduct policy.

"There is an active law enforcement investigation and we are monitoring developments," said Aiello. "As with any such incident, it will be reviewed." The Packers are awaiting further developments before acting. It's worth noting that Underwood lost his scholarship at Ohio State for character issues.

The Sauk County (WI) District Attorney is expected to decide whether to charge Packers CB Brandon Underwood with sexual assault by Friday.

We're beginning to think Underwood will avoid charges. He's got six of his teammates (presumably) on his side, and the two girls accusing him of sexual assault have changed their story since the onset of the investigation.

The attorney for Packers CB Brandon Underwood expects his client to be cleared of all charges relating to last weekend's sexual assault allegation once the investigation is complete.

"When the dust settles, Brandon will be vindicated," Kaiser said, citing the changing stories of the two women interviewed by police. Lake Delton Police Chief Tom Dorner opted against recommending charges to the district attorney, who is expected to hand down a final decision by Friday.

Packers CB Brandon Underwood will reportedly escape sexual assault charges, but he could end up facing charges of solicitation of prostitution.

The two women involved could also face prostitution charges. Underwood picked them up at Chubby's, a gentleman's club near Lake Delton. While Underwood was engaged with one of the women, the other was caught attempted to rob him. The two women were then thrown out of the condo, at which point they apparently trumped up the "rape" story.

Lake Delton police confirmed that "money was exchanged" between Packers CB Brandon Underwood and the two women who accused him of sexual assault.

The Sauk County D.A.'s office is expected to receive police reports by noon Thursday. Underwood almost certainly won't face sexual assault charges, but he won't get away as easily on the solicitation charge.
