HCs in waiting now bound by HC recruiting rules

I think its a shitty deal because it basically singles out Texas. Only Texas and Maryland have :"HCs in waiting" at this time, but this is aimed directly at us.

If I read it right, I believe the committee we are challenging this rule to isnt in favor of it to begin with, but time will tell.

That said, if the Pac 10 or Big 10 really want us, a little grease to get this rule off the books could go a long way.

explain this a little.....what are they saying is illegal? To name a succession plan for the head coach position? That seems like some BS to me....

Basically what they are saying is it gives us an unfair advantage to name a hc in waiting, and since he will be a hc possibly at some point down the road, he has to be under the same rules as the head coach now. I disagree with this, because to me it puts 2 out of 240 something coordinators at a disadvantage.
