Seahawks | Houshmandzadeh showing great chemistry with Hasselbeck

Danny O'Neil from the Seattle Times writes that QB Matt Hasselbeck and his new WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh have been showing great chemistry in the Seahawks recent mini-camp. The Seahawks haven't had a true #1 WR since the days of Darrell Jackson. The note about them looking good together in red zone drills is especially interesting. John Carlson and Houshmandzadeh will both make great red zone options for Matt Hasselbeck.

hasselbeck is one of my favorite sleeper QBs this year. in for a great bounceback year in the top 10 and a great QB to target for those who load up on RB and WR and wait for that QB.

Agreed. He tumbled last year, somewhat because of his health, but mainly because of his targets, and I feel he falls even farther this season. You hit the nail on the head.

The health issue is the only thing that relegates him to QB2 status in my eyes. The line should be better and his performance has never really been in question.

just look at the numbers hass has put up over the last close to a decade, and look at his ranking in the top 10 each season. put it this way: its an odd year. count on him.
