Im not a pro-baseball guy at all. I love October because it means the crap is over, but with no NFL, I find myself knowing a whole lot more about whats going on in MLB and AAA ball than I ever cared to.
Your son's and my dad's Reds kicked my ass, but luckily the Cards stole two from your Phillies!I have always been a baseball fan. So I follow my Phillies, and my oldest son is a dire hard Reds fan. Which makes for a fun few weeks each summer when they play each other.
But I love the off field stuff as well for teh NFL. I am one of those guys who loves to dig in and find who is trading , cutting, and making roster moves. Watching where players go. That sort of thing. So I am missing that right now big time.

I'm enjoying the NHL playoffs (GO Canucks!). But once that's over I'm certain to be sports-free with no NFL.

There is other sports than football?
(well I am a Cubs fan... so I say again - is there other sports other than football?)
