From rotoworld,
Vikings coach Brad Childress confirmed that Percy Harvin missed Thursday's practice with a migraine headache.

There's no telling how long he'll be sidelined, though Childress believes he'll be "OK." While Harvin was able to play through the migraines early in the season, he missed one game and parts of another down the stretch. The Vikes passing attack suffered its biggest slump during those two weeks. Check back Friday for an update on Harvin's status. Jan. 21 - 4:01 pm et

Didn't they find bulging disks in Harvin's neck? I thought that was what they had decided was causing the issue? Or am I confusing things here?

I heard that too, but it didn't make any sense to me. Bulging discs cause nerve pain, pinching, numbness, tingling, burning, weakness etc... but migraines typically a symptom.

Harvin's reportedly been suffering from migraines since he was a child. Nevermind that there are multiple causes for migraines in the first place, neurology most often attacks treatment plans with prescription drugs instead of locating and correct the problem.

Remember when he got in trouble for smoking weed at UF..... MJ is a form of self medication for migraines. We haven't heard the last of this headache yet.

(RotoWire) Harvin (migraines) missed practice for a second consecutive day on Friday, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Analysis: He missed a game on Dec. 13 due to migraines, so this is a big worry. We'll get his official injury designation later on Friday.

(FFChamps) Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin missed his second straight day of practice on Friday due to migraine headaches. Harvin has been a migraine sufferer since he was 10 years old and had to miss the Vikings game against the Bengals in Week 14 because of them. He will probably be listed as questionable on the injury report when it comes out later today. Analysis: Fantasy owners can't rely on Harvin to play this Sunday in the NFC Championship. He still might wake up on Saturday and feel better, but at this point fantasy owners should have someone else in their lineups if they are participating in playoff fantasy football.

(Rotoworld) Percy Harvin missed practice again on Friday with migraine headaches, putting his status for the NFC Championship Game in serious doubt. Analysis: The migraines are returning at a bad time for the Vikings, whose history in treating them suggest Harvin will be a game-time decision. His role on offense has also been minimal whenever he's missed significant practice time. Harvin's status won't be known until about 5:30PM ET Sunday.

How does this affect his Draft/Keeper value for next year?

Migraines can be pure hell on the sufferer and are totally unpredictable. Drugs strong enough to kill the pain would impair Harvin's ability to walk....let alone play football.

There is no known cure.

Do you take a chance on this super talent?
