rotoworld,
Hakeem Nicks (leg) practiced again Thursday and Newsday's Tom Rock says the receiver is "looking good" for Sunday.

Nicks told reporters Wednesday, "If I'm practicing, I'm playing." We wouldn't write it in stone just yet, but it's looking more and more likely he'll give it a go. FOX Sports' Adam Caplan, for what it's worth, thinks Nicks will not play this weekend. It's possible it could come down to a game-time decision.

My question is do you plug him in this week which is the playoffs for many of you, or do you cross your fingers and hope he looks ready to play for your fantasy team in week 15? I'd hate to play him but due to other injuries I might have to stick him into my lineup where I'm fighting to win the division vs being the wildcard to a tiebreaker. The wildcard in SOFFLII looks to be dead on arrival in round 1 to me.:sadbanana:

(KFFL) New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (leg) said he did not feel any pain in his leg while running full speed during practice Wednesday, Dec. 8, and believes he will be able to play in Week 14, reports Ralph Vacchiano, of the New York Daily News. He was scheduled to meet with team doctors Wednesday night to have his leg re-evaluated.

Thanks n0rm I'd love to But if Harvin still has a headache and if BMW is a go in Seattle I may be forced to dial his number over someone off the ww. Of course it is still likely that Nicks won't play anyway.

Jennings, Bess, and Bennet just doesn't seem enough to win a game that I feel I must win to have a shot at reaching the finals.

I'd like to play him too. I have Jennings, TO and Steve Johnson in right now. I guess we'll wait and see after the Friday practice.

I am gonna stay away from Nicks only because I have these others. Right now I have Floyd and Wallace plugged in. Floyd because of the matchup and his QB. Wallace cause I feel he is due but they might run all over cinci. Might throw Rice in for wallace because in my opinion is one of the top receivers in the league, just don't like the qb situation.

cbssports.com,
Hakeem Nicks practiced again Friday, improving his chances of playing at Minnesota in Week 14. In fact, Newsday reported that he lined up as the starting receiver in drills against the scout team. Nicks has been sidelined for two games due to Compartment Syndrome in his lower leg and would return a week earlier than expected. Nicks said earlier this week that a lot would depend on how the wound in his leg held up in practice. A decision is expected by Saturday before the team takes their flight to Minneapolis.
