Hakeem Nicks is recovering from a scope

According to Tom Coughlin. It's assumed the scope was on his ailing knee. He is expected to be healthy in time for OTA's. This could be good news for Nicks owners if they've cleaned the problem up.

Normally, I am not one to hang the injury prone tag on players, but..................

Guy just can't stay healthy. If his knee is good, what about his foot? Too bad. Great talent and a warrior mentality, but sometimes the body just doesn't hold up.

That said, if he slides past the 5th, I'll take a chance. Worth the upside gamble at that point. I wish him the best.

Yeah, a 3 I could do but he'll never be allowed to slip that low. Too much upside seen by team owners. They can have him.

Taking chances in the 6th round is what wins championships with that kind of potential return.

Just saying............

No doubt the upside is there in spades. However he isn't likely to be on any of my squads unless he's 100% in preseason and then he's gotta slip lower then is going to happen.

I think in redraft he could fall to the 6th, even if he is labeled healthy. He has burned a lot of people.

I doubt I will grab him any earlier though. Seems like there is a big cut off in the 5th almost every year and I can get a WR there that has as much potential, or close to it anyway, with less risk.

6th rounder WR3, with WR1 upside...I agree seeing him falling and also see the value....bad thing is, my money league has a bunch of Giant Fans, but at least they will reach and leave a decent player on the board...

His adp is in the 4th. As he gets healthy it will rise. It will be tough to pass on him if he drops to the fifth.

I'm with Deuce, I can't pass on him in the 5th.....but I don't think you will be able to make that call very often. Good offense, great talent, people will still take a shot. I'm looking at him late 3rd, into the 4th myself if he doesn't have any setbacks.

You can have him in the 3rd and 4th all day. Too many good receivers available who are healthy at that spot. When talking about the health of his knee, don't forget about the foot..........

Depends on who is still on the board I guess. Was targeting him in the 5th (6th pick)in FFPC last year, but D Thomas was still on the board so passed. I am a big Nicks fan, but man, there is just a point where you have to say "enough". If he falls into the 6th, I will probably roll with him again..............

each year is a New year......i think you'll see a big year from him, but your right depends who is there.
