Gronk to have back surgery

We knew this was coming, Gronk is having surgery onvhis back.

Keep an eye on this. Back and surgery are not two words that go great together.

From all I have heard or read, this seems to be minor, but I agree with you, when a player has neck or back issues, in this league with these kinds of impact......this isn't going to be good.

Funny though, no one seems to be concerned about Stevie Johnson who had a fracture of one of his vertebrea last year. Its not getting any publicity at all.

The saga continues

I hope NE just lets him heal and if he misses half the season, so be it. Don't rush him back like they did with the forearm. Despite the fact that the break was in "a different part of his arm", I find it hard to believe it wasn't related.

Kid is an uncoverable monster, so get him healthy and unleash him in the second half of the season............

Right now it seems like he'll be ready for week one, but back problems aren't clear cut and easy to fix for good.I'm wary, but the upside of even 12 games is hard to pass up.
