Grab Gonzo from the wire...

Well Gonzo was dropped in our league and I am SERIOUSLY considering nabbing him for later.

However, with a limited bench I am at odds with who to drop.

NON-PPR, Standard scoring + 6pt for passing TD.
We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF so depth/quality at the WR position could be instrumental in the final weeks in terms of matchups, etc.

QB - McNabb, Campbell
RB - Adrian Peterson(MIN), Brian Westbrook, LenDale White, LeSean McCoy, Chester Taylor
WR- Anquan Boldin, DeSean Jackson, Lance Moore, Chris Henry, Earl Bennett
TE - Brent Celek
K - Shaun Suisham
DEF - Eagles DEF

As you can see my WR core is decent but not stellar...adding Gonzo later in the season could be a coupe assuming I can nab him....I am a little over stocked in RB due to my handcuffs...

Should I drop McCoy or Taylor for GONZO? Seems like I wont get a chance to get a WR of his quality 2-8 weeks from now.

Thoughts PLEASE.

Don't mean to poo poo your strategy but in a non-ppr league I didn't think Gonzalez was much more than a WR3 ANYWAY.

4 TDs and 600yds last year was pretty pedestrian considering the team he's on and the role he played.

By the time Gonzo gets back in the mix the Colts will have groomed another WR that will remain relevant even after Gonzo returns, cutting into his looks.

I wouldn't burn a roster spot on him...not NOW, anyway. If he's still around after your tough bye weeks then maybe, but not now.
