Hi Crush!!!

Welcome to the forum!

Gore starting isn't nearly as important as Gore Finishing. I don't like him as a week 11 start but not certain enough to start Hunter.

I'd play safe and start Benson (lousy match-up but Cincy is playing good ball) or Tolbert (8-10 pts or 12-14 in ppr) )

Hi Crush!!!

Good point by Tekie. Gore will start, he a true warrior who always answers the bell every week, and he will this week also. But as he points out will he finish or get a little gimpy and end up taking an early powder this week?

Hunter is interesting as well as frustrating. He only gets about 5-6 carries as a backup and yet he gets like 5+ yards per carry. You look at him and think if only he got 8 -12 carries like most back ups he could do some damage. He's been on your team showing potential and not getting enough action to prove it.

Now as everybody has said Benson is the safer play. I have him and use him in a couple of leagues but it can be frustrating as Benson is dependable and unspectacular. He gets his 60 or 80 yards come hell or high water. Bad matchup he manages to get his anyhow but in a favorable matchup he doesn't manage to get anymore, seems like he has no upside. He dependable, You have to play him right? He gets the biggest bunch of the carries. But Ho Hum, he is boring week after week after week, I Know.

Back to Gore possibly taking an early powder. He has left two games early, so far. One was fairly late with a bad ankle, but in that game it was late and he had done a nice amount production before leaving so you may not even known that he had taken an early powder unless you were watching closely. This latest early powder is with a banged up Knee. Now looking at this game with the Cards. Gore will start and probably do good, we have already established that warrior thing, but if the Cards are falling by the wayside and Gore shows any signs of a gimp he is much too valuable down the road for the playoffs to let him hang around and play if he is not 100%.

So I would actually play Hunter as all he needs to equal is Benson in a tough matchup, Tolbert has been hot and cold and banged up at times. If you have been itching to give Hunter a try this may very well be the best week yet to do it. It may make you fell better just to have not Bensoned for a week.

I would put Hunter in the lineup. Gore will start but Hunter could finish. Gore is much to valuable to play the entire game if not needed. They have the Ravens coming up and he could be alot more valuable on Thursday. Hunter/Dixon is more than capable of caring the load for one game, especially against AZ.

You have to go with Gore and De Marco Murry unless gore doesn't play for some reason. Gore will get his work in and do good. The last time Gore took and early powder he had like 100 plus yards and a TD in the first quarter. Most owners may not have known he left early. I would start gore over Hunter. In Irish Crush's situation we are talking about Hunter out doing Benson vs the Ravens. Though the fact that you have the KHunt option is great just in case the Gore news is bad just before the 4 pm kickoff.... and you should check then as you never know.
