• CBS Sportsline reports the Carolina Panthers filled out their practice by signing WR Charly Martin today, who was cut by San Diego. He played at West Texas.

The Chargers suprised me when the y released him and didn't sign him to their Pratice Squad. I am glad that the Panthers picked up the local boy. I still predict he plays on Sundays before all is sadi and done. His QB made the active roster for the Rams. (Null) If you throw in Bernard Scott and Johnny Knox that is 4 players from this little conference that made it.
