Giants WR Steve Smith will probably be re-signed.

This info is more dynasty orientated right now. Smith is recovering from micro- fracture surgery and is a free agent. Despite this the Giants are expected to re-sign him mostly because the injury will make it at a bargain price. Smith is progressing nicely But may not be ready at the start of the season and might be PUPed. That takes him out of the running for 6 weeks. Smith and Boss are the duo that moves the chains between the big plays. So he may be useful as bye weeks roll around.

Drafting him in a redraft may not be a good idea unless it is a small league with large rosters. But if he is PUPed you may want to grab him off the Waiver Wire a couple of weeks before he comes off.

Up until very recently hasn't a micro-fracture injury been the kiss of death? I'm pretty sure that's been the case in the NBA with players losing their hops. For a WR that relies on his quicks, wouldn't it pretty much be the same?

So, does anyone think that The Giants look to Free Agency for a WR?

Heck, if they could pickup Braylon Edwards or Santonio Holmes then WR wouldn't even have to move.
