Giants D loses CB Terrell Thomas

Season ending injury for their starting CB and leading tackler.

Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas went to the locker room late in the second quarter after getting leg whipped by teammate Jason Pierre-Paul. Thomas was able to walk off the field, but ESPN's Suzy Kolber got word from Giants coach Tom Coughlin that Thomas tore his ACL. Thomas had steadily become New York's most consistent and complete cornerback. With first round pick Prince Amukamara out until October the Giants have gone from adding depth in the draft to suddenly thin at cornerback.
