Games in London?

Like them, love them, hate them, or don't care?

Personally, I don't care either way, but I think it's unfair to those who have to play over there....I wish they would just keep the games here.

Its kind of neat for the world wide brand that the NFL is becoming. I don't know how the NFL selects the games to be played over there, but I would hope the organizations have some say in the matter.

As far as the players, they're doing just fine. They can spend a few extra hours on a plane each way to play the game they love and be compensated for it. People travel over seas for business all the time and work far more hours and make less money

I know that when the Saints had to go across the pond it hurt that the game was one of our eight home games. Find a team that doesn't draw good at their own stadium and let them be the one to host in London and give up a home game.

I hate it and mostly because I don't see any good reason for doing it. To gain popularity abroad? The NFL has already had 2 European leagues that have folded so it is clear that it will not become as popular there. And because of the proximity problem it is never going to be feasible to have and actual NFL franchise located anywhere across the pond.

As with most of Goddell's ideas this just seems like a way to bring in more revenue without actually improving the product.

Didn't they try this once? NFL Europe it didn't work then won't work now. Keep the games here.

I read again this week that the NFL expects there to be a team located in Europe within the next ten years. Same story a year ago.

Resurrecting this since we have a game London this week.

Rather than continue the "Do You Like It" dialog, I'm more interested in if and how it affects your fantasy decisions.

If you're like me, you try to avoid starting players on Thursday Night and see the Monday Night game as a bonus when setting your line up.

Is London a game to avoid in fantasy or a reason to bump a player up a notch?

I was ready to roll with the Miami DST one more week vs Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Jets but when I saw the game was in London I backed off of that plan. I don't think that anyone will argue that the travel has a detrimental effect on the players but it's across the board and one would assume it affects every player the same thereby keeping the playing field even.

Where I lost confidence is in thinking that this game is more circus than serious and Londoners want to see scores. I'm leaving Brandon Marshall in my line up without worry.

Which way do you lean when choosing your Jet Lag Line up?

I agree. Brits are paying to see the superstars.

Anyone know what the weather for the game is?

I can't make myself buy into the Jets hype train.

It's the f'n jets. You know they will lose 6/7 games at some point to return then to their proper position as Brady Gooch cleaner.

I have Landry going in one league, and R.Matthews going in the other - one of them will be off Revis Island I hope.
