nice move by Minny. They are pretty sure they need help, and this was a low risk, low cost chance. IF he does well, they can resign and let Ponder and or Cassell go.

Honestly it's not that bad of a move. If he plays well then the Vikings sign him for multiple years. If he stinks it up, no loss next year. Vikings are going to draft a QB next year anyway, so why not give Freeman a shot?
