Free Agent RB Jason Snelling Re-Signs with The Falcons

Best place for Snelling. If Turner gets injured, he's proven he can handle the work load.

I agree with most, this drops the value of Jaquizz. But he will still be change of pace for turner. So PPR leagues may want to take a late round flyer still.

lSo, I like what has been said so far.

As n0rm said Jaquizz takes a hit as he could have been the main backup if both Snelling and Norwood had left, but Norwood is still gone.

As Osiris said it was the best place for Snelling to end up. He can give you starting back production in an injury pinch and Turner is going to get a lot more rest during the season which is good for Turner and Snelling gets another year to audition for the Falcons long term and the rest of the NFL too.

Phicinfan makes a point that Jaquizz has taken a hit but don't let him completely fall off the map in PPR leagues. This Falcon running game for years has been designed to have a potent 3rd down specialist as a main cog of the O. Norwood showed some signs of being that important cog turning in some nice performances in that role at times. But Norwood could never stay healthy enough to be that guy all the time. Jaquizz has a chance to step in and be that explosive weapon that the Falcons have always wanted to be able to insert frequently into their gameplan. So Jaquizz could end up fullfilling that Norwood potential in this Falcon running game. So he may be the third fiddle in this running attack but he could put up better numbers than some other teams second fiddles. So in PPR leagues with larger rosters he may be worth a late round pick like Phicinfan says. If your PPR league doesn't allow room for that stash, keep your eye on Jaquizz, he may be a Waiver Wire bye week hero this year. With Snelling back this rushing attack for the Falcons may step up as a whole, creating a bigger pie that might make all 3 of these Rbs fantasy useful at times.
